Slover Library provides the Video Production Studio on the fourth floor with state-of-the-art tools for creating and editing digital media. An Introduction to Video Production class is required before making a reservation to use the Video Production Studio. Classes cover how to use the equipment, as well as video production tips and guidelines. Classes are offered multiple times each week as well as alternating weekends.
Reservations are required to use the Video Production Studio. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance by Norfolk Public Library patrons or staff, for periods ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
There is a limit of two reservations per week by the same user(s).
This room offers technical capabilities that may require special preparation and testing prior to a scheduled activity. To learn about these capabilities, users may request a consultation.
There is a 15 minute grace period for arrival, before the space becomes available for other users.
Slover Library reserves the right to change a user’s reservation, if necessary, and will provide as much advance notice as possible should this be necessary.
Users are requested to cancel reservations 24 hours in advance if their plans change, so that the space can be available to others. Failure to do so may prevent future use of the Video Production Studio.
